About this site

Welcome to Malta Unfolded! Join me as I embark on my first mid-term stay abroad, sharing a mix of personal and work-related experiences. From navigating the charming streets of Malta to integrating into the local culture and work environment, this blog captures the highs, lows, and everything in between. Whether you're considering a move or just curious about life in Malta, follow along for an authentic glimpse into my journey.

Who do I recommend it to?

I recommend it to freelancers and digital nomads looking for an ideal (and warm) place to work, entrepreneurs seeking a favorable business environment and tax system, my mom, who is always so (too) curious, and my friends and loved ones who are interested in what's happening with me.

My short story

After three years of entrepreneurship, I felt the need for new impulses and wanted to do something I had never done before, preferably in a warm, English-speaking country.

I found a partner for this journey through the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs program and the CONNECTICLUB business hub.

My main goals were quite straightforward:

  • Develop business skills
  • Practice English
  • Gain international experience
  • Expand my comfort zone
  • Have experiences that are not possible in my home country.

Malta seemed ideal for these goals, and a few months in, I can confidently say it is.

So this page is about this, planned to present:

  • Malta's business potential and opportunities
  • The natural treasures and places I recommend
  • The opportunities and struggles
  • All my other experiences

My bilingual blog

The bilingual blog aims to continuously summarize the stimuli I encounter. Naturally, this represents a subjective experience and personal perspective. The concept is that the blog is continuously written and traceable through individual posts, and the content created in this way continually fills the 'Experience' sections. This is expected to create a complete, holistic experience of Malta.

Since I miss my mother tongue, I plan to write the blog in Hungarian, so the English translation might sometimes be incorrect or inaccurate. Moreover, I can't guarantee that I will write this blog with the same energy, precision, or meticulousness as in recent years, but something is better than nothing! 😊 So read it accordingly, with enough patience and appropriate love ♥️

If you're interested in reading my thoughts, subscribe to receive my posts in English via email. I plan to write 1-2 posts per week, and they will be short, taking only 2-3 minutes to read. If you have that much time, I'd be happy if you subscribed.
